Modern Mortals has been a few years in the making. This record was made with the intent of exploring deeper into the struggle that is living a life of passion and pursuit versus hiding in the shadows (or behind the screen of a device) and waiting out the clock so to speak. We ALL have struggles with the idea of living a life that fits into a certain culture or system. Each of us is equipped with a soul, a spirit, a heart, and a mind. We are all given emotion, and we're all given experience. It's how we utilize these things that shapes the next phase of life, whatever or wherever that may be. There's a beauty that can be found in God, and a faith in Him that cannot be extinguished, even as the pressures of our modern world keep moving and changing. We are all Modern Mortals, and beauty is in the eyes of the bewildered.
